Volkswagen partnered with Moog to define the best way to test real-time durability and key characteristics of automobile axles through fatigue and vibration testing. The unique result was a 16 DOF hydraulic suspension test rig used for sophisticated analysis of axle dynamics (steering, drive torque and braking). Because this test rig configuration allows complete test integrity, Volkswagen can develop even higher quality vehicles for millions of customers around the globe.
